CFI College of Law is a professionally managed institution dedicated to delivering quality legal education in accordance with the academic standards and regulatory framework prescribed by the Bar Council of India, the University of Calicut, and the Government of Kerala.

The college operates in full compliance with statutory norms governing infrastructure, faculty qualifications, curriculum delivery, student welfare mechanisms, and institutional transparency. All academic activities are conducted under the guidelines and semester system prescribed by the affiliating university.

The CFI Charitable Trust is a registered body established with the objective of promoting quality education and social development initiatives. The Trust oversees the administration, financial management, infrastructure development, policy formulation, and regulatory compliance of the institution.

Role of the Governing Body

The Governing Body of the institution is responsible for:

• Strategic planning and institutional development
• Ensuring compliance with BCI, University of Calicut, and Government norms
• Appointment of qualified faculty and staff
• Monitoring academic standards and performance
• Financial supervision and resource allocation
• Maintaining institutional transparency and accountability

The Governing Body functions in accordance with the Trust's objectives and relevant statutory provisions to ensure that the institution maintains high standards in legal education and professional training.

To establish a centre of excellence in legal education that nurtures competent, ethical, and socially committed legal professionals equipped to meet contemporary challenges in the legal and judicial system.

CFI College of Law offers integrated undergraduate law programmes approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The programmes are designed to combine professional legal education with strong foundations in commerce and business administration, preparing students for diverse career pathways in law, corporate sectors, judiciary, and academia.

Admissions are conducted strictly in accordance with:

• University of Calicut regulations
• Bar Council of India norms
• Government of Kerala reservation policies

The admission process ensures transparency, merit-based selection, and compliance with statutory requirements. Eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and fee structure are clearly communicated in the admission prospectus issued each academic year.
