The college operates in full compliance with statutory norms governing infrastructure, faculty qualifications, curriculum delivery, student welfare mechanisms, and institutional transparency. All academic activities are conducted under the guidelines and semester system prescribed by the affiliating university.

The CFI Charitable Trust is a registered body established with the objective of promoting quality education and social development initiatives. The Trust oversees the administration, financial management, infrastructure development, policy formulation, and regulatory compliance of the institution.

Role of the Governing Body

The Governing Body of the institution is responsible for:

• Strategic planning and institutional development
• Ensuring compliance with BCI, University of Calicut, and Government norms
• Appointment of qualified faculty and staff
• Monitoring academic standards and performance
• Financial supervision and resource allocation
• Maintaining institutional transparency and accountability

The Governing Body functions in accordance with the Trust's objectives and relevant statutory provisions to ensure that the institution maintains high standards in legal education and professional training.

• To provide structured and well-planned academic programs that make legal concepts easy to understand, while also maintaining seriousness and academic discipline.
• To offer 5 year integrated BBA LLB and B.Com LLB in Kerala, allowing students to study law together with business and commerce subjects. This helps them understand how law works in companies, financial systems, and corporate environments, opening wider career paths.
• To deliver high-quality BBA LLB (Hons) & B.Com LLB (Hons) courses/education that focus on building practical skills such as drafting legal documents, analysing case laws, participating in moot courts, improving public speaking, and strengthening research ability.
• To strengthen Integrated Law Courses Kerala by including internships, court visits, seminars, workshops, legal awareness programs, and academic mentoring so students gain real-world exposure along with theoretical knowledge.
• To encourage active classroom participation where students can ask questions, engage in discussions, take part in debates, and develop confidence in expressing legal opinions.
• To promote research habits and critical thinking so students learn to examine laws carefully, understand policy decisions, and stay updated with legal developments in India.

CFI College of Law offers integrated undergraduate law programmes approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The programmes are designed to combine professional legal education with strong foundations in commerce and business administration, preparing students for diverse career pathways in law, corporate sectors, judiciary, and academia.

Admissions are conducted strictly in accordance with:

• University of Calicut regulations
• Bar Council of India norms
• Government of Kerala reservation policies

The admission process ensures transparency, merit-based selection, and compliance with statutory requirements. Eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and fee structure are clearly communicated in the admission prospectus issued each academic year.

CFI College of Law maintains a qualified and competent faculty team as mandated by the Bar Council of India.
